This 49-year-old female underwent an initial double mastectomy without doing reconstruction. Later, she decided to undergo reconstruction and went through the process of tissue expanders to slowly stretch her skin to accommodate an implant. Following the expansion process, her secondary procedure to place a permanent implant was performed. She has a 550cc shaped silicone Allergan implant.
