Earning his Bachelor’s degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in biomedical engineering, Dr. Hubbard went on to attend Upstate Medical University, where he was chosen for the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and graduated cum laude. It was during medical school that Dr. Hubbard developed a passion for the art of plastic surgery.
Dr. Hubbard completed his plastic surgery residency at the University of Missouri, earning the respect of many peers and colleagues and receiving the Most Outstanding Resident of the Year Award, along with the Excellence in Resident Teaching Award. At The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, he completed an additional year of training, specializing in aesthetic surgery. Dr. Hubbard has published many scientific research articles, review articles, and book chapters on a variety of aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery topics.
After years of being asked by plastic surgeons around the country, Dr. Hubbard and his esteemed colleagues at the Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute have begun a plastic surgery fellowship. A fellowship is an additional year of specialized training that a plastic surgeon might choose to do before starting their career. Dr. Hubbard is the co-director of this fellowship program, which will train young plastic surgeons in the most advanced and cutting edge plastic surgery procedures. An incredible number of world-class candidates apply to this program each year. Dr. Hubbard is very excited to be involved in training the next generation of plastic surgeons and giving back to his field.
Outside the operating room, Dr. Hubbard makes family his top priority. He resides in Dallas, TX with his wife and children. They love staying active together as a family and he is actively involved in their sports and extra-curricular activities.
