Out of Town Patients

Out of town patients travel from all over the US and other countries to visit Dr. Hubbard in our Dallas office! For the convenience of people coming from out of state or out of the country, we have made it as easy as possible for all traveling patients. We will help you through the process that will ensure your experience with us is comfortable and convenient.

Getting started:

Contact us by phone (214.370.4813) or email (drhubbard.office@dpsi.org) and let us know you are from out of town. Through pictures and back and forth Q&A we can attain as much preliminary medical information as possible. We will do everything possible to ensure that you are a good candidate for the procedures you are considering.

Your time in Dallas:

Once you have determined that you wish to proceed, we will schedule the consultation, surgery and follow up visits ahead of time to match your schedule. Your consultation should take about two hours and will be spent covering physical examination, pre and post-operative instruction, and signing of all consents. Surgery can be performed the same or next day, and is usually followed by a one to two-night stay in our facility to safety and comfort. We may require you to stay locally for 2-14 days depending on your procedure. Your safety and health remain our number one priority.

Getting here:

For patients that wish to fly in, Love Field is a short car ride over (less than 9 miles) and DFW Airport is less than 25 miles away from our office. Listed below is a list of hotels and car rental services we recommend for our long-distance patients.

Staying here:

The following hotels do have medical rates, however, the rates do vary. When you schedule your hotel stay, tell the reservationist you are having surgery through Baylor Hospital (the Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute is part of the Baylor campus) in order to get the medical rate if applicable. We have more hotels upon request.
