Brazilian Butt Lift in Dallas, TX
The Brazilian butt lift is a fantastic way to give you the perky, full buttocks shape you have always wanted. The surgery works in two ways. Using liposuction, the excess fat is first removed from your abdomen, flanks, back and legs. The living fat cells that have been removed from unwanted areas are then transplanted to the buttocks. The transplanted fat can both improve the shape and volume of the buttocks.
Brazilian Butt Lift Consultation
During your consultation at his Dallas office, Dr. Hubbard and his staff can help you decide if a Brazilian butt lift is the right procedure for you. First, he will discuss your goals and expectations for the procedure. During the physical exam he will assess your body for the amount of fat he will be able to remove, as well as check your buttocks, hip and leg anatomy to plan the ideal locations for augmentation.
How do you know if you are a good candidate for butt augmentation through fat transfer? Usually, if a patient wears an eight to 12 dress size, she is probably best suited for fat transfer. Thin patients, who wear size two to four dresses are usually not good candidates because they do not have enough fat to spare.
Brazilian Butt Lift Surgery and Recovery
The Brazilian butt lift is performed under general anesthesia and the surgery typically lasts 3 to 4 hours. Patients can choose to return home the same day or stay overnight in our post-surgical hotel suits. Most patients prefer to stay overnight. No drains are used and no stitches will have to be removed.
Swelling and bruising are common after surgery, but resolve quickly within two weeks. Patients are fitted with compression garments to help reduce swelling and increase the rate of recovery. After the procedure, you must wear a body garment for 6-8 weeks. You will also be asked to avoid sitting or laying directly on your buttocks as the compression of your body weight might injure the transplanted fat cells.
Most patients return to work after 10-14 days. Surprisingly the buttocks doesn’t have much discomfort at all, rather it is the areas of liposuction that may be sore for several days.
Almost all buttocks look better right after some added volume. There is no way to guarantee a final volume. On average 50-70% of the transplanted fat will survive, however the best rule of thumb is that whatever remains at 3 months will be yours forever.
During your consultation, Dr. Hubbard will discuss with you your goals and expectations and determine if this is the right procedure for you. To schedule your private consultation with Dr. Hubbard please contact our office or call us directly at 214.370.4813.
